Using Adobe Photoshop to create my double page for my music marketing brief. This is the first draft of my product.
I have used four individual photos of iconic landmarks in London and cropped them so they have an even share across the whole landscape. I have removed the background of every photo and merged them together, I then used the base layer of the sky for one photo to then create my own landscape for the sky using multiple layering techniques alongside blurring and merging to create a natural gradient skyline. I also used layering techniques and lasso tools to overlap some objects such as the bench and the bus; I did this purposely as I thought it gives a more natural look - to further enhance the natural look I also used multiple paint techniques on photoshop to blend the colours of the road or buildings together.
I also asked the characters to take a photo preferably with their instrument. I then removed the background and positioned them to look like it is a performance shot. For the drummer, as he didn't have a drum set at home I asked him to take a photo of him sitting down with drum sticks in his hands and I then got a stock photo of a drum kit and editing it in so its the right size and positioned well to look like it is all part of one photo.
